Golgi body
Golgi body was first discovered by Camillo Golgi. They are responsible for the secretion of chemical substances like enzymes, hormones, and proteins. Golgi bodies complex are formed by stacks of flattened (saucer-shaped) membranes or flattened sacs called cisternae. There are some vacuoles and clusters of very small vesicles (bladder-like structures) near the cisternae. The material that is synthesised near Endoplasmic Reticulum is packaged and dispatched to other parts of the cell through Golgi bodies
